HeartStrong was born out of a miracle. When my husband suffered a sudden cardiac arrest, his life was saved because a bystander acted quickly with CPR while first responders were on their way. That experience changed everything for our family—and inspired us to take action so more lives can be saved. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people lose their lives to heart attacks and cardiac arrest. HeartStrong is dedicated to turning tragedy into hope by empowering communities with lifesaving education, hands-only CPR training, and advocacy for wider access to emergency response tools like AEDs. Our mission is simple but urgent: to make sure no one faces a heart emergency without help close at hand. By teaching, equipping, and inspiring everyday people to step in with confidence, HeartStrong works to build a future where more families—like ours—get to keep their loved ones.
